An editorial licence permits use of the image in connection with factual reporting, comment, criticism, or educational purposes. Permitted uses include:

All licences are for a single use in a single publication or broadcast. Repeat use, multiple editions, or use across multiple platforms requires a new licence. Territory is worldwide unless otherwise agreed.
All licensed images must carry a credit line in the following format:

The credit must appear adjacent to the image or, where that is not possible (e.g. broadcast), in the programme credits or accompanying documentation.
All images remain the copyright of 1066 Prints. Purchasing a licence does not transfer copyright or ownership of the image. You are purchasing the right to use the image within the scope defined by the licence only.
The licence is non-exclusive — the same image may be licensed to other parties. If you require exclusive use, please contact us to discuss exclusive licensing terms.
On successful payment, you will receive an email containing:
Download links are valid for 48 hours from the time of purchase. Please save the image and certificate before the link expires. If your link expires before you are able to download, please contact us and we will issue a replacement.
Because digital image files are delivered immediately on purchase, we are unable to offer refunds once a download link has been issued, except where:
Refund requests must be made within 7 days of purchase by emailing [email protected] with your order reference number.
For requirements not covered by the standard licence tiers — including bespoke terms, volume licensing or exclusive rights — please submit an enquiry via the image page on this website or email [email protected] directly. We aim to respond within one working day.
These licence terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
